The much popular Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is vitally an optimistic music extravaganza that promises the visitors a whale of a time. Idyllically set along the river in view of the New York City’s astonishing skyline, the festival is a living example of how one can turn angst into art and how people can find happiness in food, music, community and street art. The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is no doubt New York City’s largest Hip-Hop cultural event showcasing the infinite aspects of Hip-Hop culture.
Apart from the regular musical and dance performances, the festival even offers a myriad of fun activities including panel discussions, after parties, award shows and exhibitions. People who have visited the festival in the past truly believe that this event is much more than a concert as it is a family reunion for loved ones.
The 12th edition of the festival runs from July 13th - 16th 2016 in multiple locations throughout the town of Brooklyn.

The Hip-Hop Institute will be a daylong conference that will be hosting lectures, panel discussions and workshops entirely dedicated to the study of issues related to entrepreneurship and criminal injustice.

Dummy Clap Film Festival
Medgar Evers College, 1650 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY
This day, the festival will be screenings old school films, documentaries, and shorts on giant screens to promote the budding talent of various regions. Some of the leading filmmakers from all across the globe will also be holding sessions for Masters Classes.

Juice Hip Hop Exhibition

Juice exhibition celebrates the legacy of hip hop in an entirely different manner that is by gathering the group of budding dancers, beat makers, sneaker-heads, deejays and visual/graffiti artists all together on one platform to showcase each element an talent simultaneously.

“The Big Show”
Main Stage – Brooklyn Bridge Park, DUMBO, Brooklyn
The final concert is held on the last day where all the old school legends share the stage with next generation’s stars. This year’s top performances will feature Nas, Fabolous, Rapsody, Talib Kweli, DJ Rob Swift, and many more.
